I have a wonderful learning intensive year round Homeschool. Children can learn at their own pace, but learn well with lots of one-on-one attention. Low student/teacher ratio of no more than 6/1. I have over 16 years of experience in childcare. I have two girls ages 3 1/2 (4 in January) and 15 months. I am homeschooling my older daughter using Kindergarten curriculum. She is reading books on her own, writing, and doing simple math problems. My younger daughter loves to sit and listen (we read a lot of books) or just learns through play. I am using the Eclectic Homeschooling Method - An Eclectic Homeschooler is one who looks at the different approaches and methods of homeschooling and takes from each forming her own unique philosophy. I love knowing that my kids won't be sitting in a classroom bored 5 days a week or left behind because they don't understand something. We go to museums, we are outdoors learning, at the library. Children learn so much better with the one-on-one attention that homeschoolers have. Homeschool is great too in that if your child is at a PreK level in Language Arts, but a 1st Grade level in Math, they can be taught at different grade levels (in a regular classroom they can just be left behind or bored). Homeschoolers are proven to be way ahead of the class!! We have a large playground in our fenced in backyard with a brand new Creative Playthings swing set. We live on a dead end street, in a beautiful family neighborhood, with lots of children. I have a housekeeper that comes in to do major housework, so my focus is totally on the children. I have a lot of experience, excellent references, CPR/First Aid certified, & licensed. We are very affordable!! Your tuition INCLUDES EVERYTHING (before & after school childcare, pull-ups/ wipes, healthy meals & snacks, school supplies, fieldtrips, extra curricular activities, FREE monthly parents night out, sledding, sports, etc.). All that your children would need to bring would be empty backpacks to fill up with all their wonderful projects and schoolwork. We work around your schedule!!
